Looked up my official time for last Saturday's race and turns out I didn't do so bad. Averaged 9:54 per mile and finished in 30:41. Hoping to break under 30, but not too bad. Ah, something to work towards :)
So I haven't been doing to good keeping you informed. It's been a SLOW training season. I only run 3 times a week and am still doing run/walk intervals. Did 10 last Saturday then just 3 today. Wow! I need to get with it. But I can't wait to get to San Fran. It will be a blast!!! Jen
Did 16.5 on Saturday in 3 hours. Wow! Didn't think I had it in me. The stars we all in alignment and my asthma was under control.
I ran with the full marathon trainee for our team. Couldn't let them think they can out run the coach!!! My legs and knees are feeling today. Oh, well. Tomorrow is another day Scarlet. Love you!
Well you are putting me to shame! I, too, am running intervals as well. Otherwise, I'm afraid my hamstrings aren't going to make it. And I have to have those! Anyway, treadmill is coming in handy even though I hate running on it. My hip and hamstrings are so much better the next day when I run on that cushioned surface. I can't believe it. Did 6 on it Thursday.
I'm getting very excited too! Call me so we can get the flight info worked out. I'm thinking about flying into San Fran unless we are staying in Oakland.
I need to run 7 today. Planning on going later. Couldn't get up this morning due to a late night last night.
I have three kids with my husband of 20 years. We enjoy doing things together. One thing I do for myself is run. I am not a fast runner but I enjoy it because it is a physical challenge.
